Derrick Taylor

Derrick Taylor is the co-owner of Fluid-Aire Dynamics and co-founder and General Manager of PneuTech USA. Derrick grew up in the compressed air industry and brings more than 20 years of direct experience in compressed air service, installation, sales, and system design. Fluid-Aire Dynamics, founded by Derrick’s father in 1983, is a leading distributor of industrial compressed air equipment in the Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and San Antonio markets. Derrick started his career here in 2000 as a pipefitter - installing and designing compressed air piping systems. In 2005, he was named Sales Manager for the Greater Chicago area. In this role, he worked directly with customers to design compressed air solutions for a broad range of industrial applications. These experiences gave him a deep understanding and appreciation of compressed air system engineering and how to match solutions with customer needs.

In 2012, Derrick and his brothers founded PneuTech with 3 other international partners to address some of the challenges they recognized from their experiences on the distribution side. Headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, PneuTech is now a global manufacturer of air compressors, air dryers and compressed air equipment with representation in the U.S., UK, AU and New Zealand. Derrick says, “We founded PneuTech to provide a better customer experience for both compressed air users and local distributors. We wanted full control of the supply chain so we can deliver compressed air equipment with best-in-class reliability and value. As an OEM, we back all of our equipment with the best warranties in the business, and we work with our distributors to help them in any way we can to deliver the highest customer satisfaction to their users.”
